Finlay Extracts & Ingredients USA, Inc. built a new Global Research and Development Center in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The structure incorporated a substantial number of insulated panels as well as a façade of aluminum composite panels at the main entrance. Controlled Environment Structures (CES) of Mansfield, MA was tasked with installing the panel systems and sub-contracted the fabrication of the MCM system to our talented team at New England Panel Systems.
We helped CES match the three-color panel system with the Finlays corporate color scheme. This was a great opportunity for us to leverage our relationship with composite panel manufacturer Alcotex to create a custom finish in Finlays Green. Our ability to provide just-in-time manufacturing and our extensive experience with different composite panel systems also had a chance to shine during the project. An unexpected change in field conditions rendered some of the original field measurements to be unusable due to the precise nature of the rain screen installation system which was being applied. We were able to assist CES in determining which field measurements needed to be retaken and then fabricated and shipped replacement panels on an expedited schedule. We were proud to offer our services as a panel fabricator and more on this project and we’re very pleased with the resulting aesthetic look of the facility.
